Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer and vocalist. Beautiful, intelligent and talented actor, she's an inspiration to Asian actors who want to make it big in Hollywood. An early string of success performances in popular TV series made her well-known for her part in the character of Ally McBeal, where she appeared as Ling Woo. In the wake of a rapid rise in her popularity, she was offered roles on major screens including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave a stunning performance as Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii. In the same time frame she also acted as the lead in some failures at the box office such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she became an actor in voice for animated films including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small screen roles failed to bring her any success. A recurring role in the critically-acclaimed police drama Southland helped re-establish herself as an established actress. Liu selects her roles with care so that she doesn't get typecast in a competitive industry. Although she's embraced her roots she has not let it restrict her artistic abilities.
