Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actor from the United States. The actress gained fame from the late 1970s to mid-80s, when she was featured in several television programs, which typically featured a glamourous look. Fairchild first appeared in Search for Tomorrow on CBS in the role of Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. After appearing on Dallas the show, in which she played Jenna Wade as the very first actress in primetime she was then a part of the NBC program Flamingo Road. For this role she was nominated with a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for the Best Actress for a Television Series - Drama. The show was a short-lived ABC premiertime drama Paper Dolls. Then, from 1985-1986 she played the lawyer Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also a performer on stage and has appeared on TV shows like Murphy Brown, for which she received an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series. Additionally, she is a SAG-AFTRA Board member.
